I’m not sure I ever imagined myself as much of a country girl, but being outside in nature often makes me a better florist. I look at every growing thing with curiosity and clippers. - Lindsey

Lindsey Hart

Owner, magic maker, bucket washer, boss lady

Since I came before the business I'll start with my story.  Over 25 years ago in my dad's backyard I begin this business. At seven I didn't literally know I would end up making floral design a career, but I did know I loved plants, flowers, and pretty things. I started out all those years ago making neighborhood girls' crowns, necklaces and bracelets from rose PETALS strung on braided PINE needles -- our name is a nod to those first creations.

I studied art in college to continue my love for creating and learned so much about color and form composition that I now intuitively use everyday.  After years adventuring in big cities and experimenting with other jobs and art forms I found my favorite medium in flowers.  When I finally took the leap a few years ago and opened this business as my full time gig, I found my real passion as a creative entrepreneur. I love a productive spreadsheet almost as much as I love making arrangements.

Last April I went through this whole crazy wedding thing myself and now my husband and I are slowing making a 120 yr old farmhouse our home on 65 beautiful acres in Owensboro, Kentucky.

Beth Weber

Truly the original flower lady that started it all. Beth is Lindsey's mom - it was her garden clippings, her bathroom sink arrangements, her incredibly crafty DNA that were the first catalyst for this crazy adventure. These days she's our head designer working alongside Lindsey to create our signature arrangements and our trusty team-lead on event day making sure all everyone's executing Lindsey's crazy to do lists.

Evan Hart

Our production engineer, expert packer, garden guy, problem solver and the most patient man alive. He got the greatest unpaid internship of his life the day he started dating Lindsey.  Cleary he liked the gig because he went ahead and married her even if it meant a lifetime of sweeping up all our Petal and Pine messes.

Millie Hatfield

She's our sweet encourager, the fresh air that blows into the studio at the end of a crazy week to help us catch up, even if it means washing infinite buckets in a bathtub. Millie is most multi talented creative we know, but humble enough to be stuck on boutonniere duty. She praises our weird homemade lunches and belongs to the minivan club so clearly she's a kindred spirit.
